Reviews about T-Mobile

Welcome to the latest Verizon of the used car salesman.... If I could write this review with zero stars, I would. T•Mobile should be ashamed of themselves. This was the absolute worst support I have ever encountered and I've been a PC Tech since The Commodore 64 was in competition with The Atari 800... As you can imagine, I have spent my fair share of time in tech support sessions. It took two months of calling, every other day, to report that my phone, after switching from T•Mobile prepaid to T•Mobile postpaid, using the same phone and number, I could not remain connected while driving, even on an Interstate Highway or Parkway. I was dropping calls one after the next, constantly. Every single one of the 35 representative I spoke with either offered to have my case escalated to "Engineering" where both the technical geniuses and the super technical geniuses all called back on the broken number or never bothered trying at all. After 2 months of this nonsense, i contacted the store Manager who asked me to come in to 'Service' The phone for me. The Manager Mike, took the phone, tinkered with a setting or two, then tried to convince me I needed a new phone. After awhile, it almost started making sense, maybe my phone really was unable to function with the new technology and so, like an idiot, I paid for a new phone. I was back in 20 minutes. The new phone wouldn't connect with my cars technology, so Mike downloaded an app that provides that service. I was charged for the app as well, but Mike had no idea how to use it. The app never worked and I ended up getting a refund for the new phone. My issue was never resolved. While they offered a $60.00 credit, to my account, not off of the price of the new phone, but off of future monthly charges; it still wasn't worth all of the aggrivation and all of the lies they all told: one says: "you need an update from Android", another says: "no no you need an update from Samsung", another said: "go into the store you need a new SIM card" while yet another said: "they were all wrong, all you need to do is 'FLASH' the phone by following instructions in an email" that he sent which a Brain Surgeon would have a hard time following. Two months of aggrivation for nothing and not a single soul offered any form of incentive or credit of any kind unless I bought something more. After all of that, I had to ask for a credit which I'm still not certain was ever done. These people are salsemen and women, they're there for a commission and they tell you whatever they think you want to hear. Go Online, educate yourself and know what you want, what features you need, and what competitive prices are available for the product you're looking for. The more they sell you the more they earn, they'll keep on selling you and selling you until you buy something expensive enough that it can't help but work and that's no way to do business, in one so competitive as this. Never Again!!
